Drives are scheduled seven days a week; during the day, evening and weekends. Volunteers are welcome to volunteer as much time as they wish as it fits with their availability. Volunteers provide transportation within Guelph and/or Wellington County, for children, youth and families of the agency, to various appointments which could include court ordered supervised access visits with a parent, community service agency visits, to and from school and after school care, legal appointments. This could be driving a new mom and baby for their first check up, taking a dad from Mount Forest to Guelph for caring Dad’s parenting group, driving a child to their weekly counselling session, or taking a family to a medical appointment. Volunteers in this role are ‘chauffeurs'. This position requires volunteers use their own vehicle. Reimbursement for KM and expenses are provided.
