Impact Statement Hope House relies on volunteers to deliver the essential programs and services to the community. We could not do it without the power of dedicated volunteers!
Description Every month we work in the kitchen with our Hope House Chef and a Guest Chef Tuesday - Thursday to prep a couple of hundred meals to raise funds for Hope House through our Better Food Co.

Daily Duties

Tuesday:
-For people who enjoy the preparation of food
-Food washing and cutting
-Preparing produce for Wednesday cooking

Wednesday:
-For people who want to transform the produce into the meals
-Package the meals, organize, move things around
-A bit more intense, fast-paced kitchen work, but it's an action packed fun day!

Thursday morning:
-For people who enjoy putting the final touches on the meal
-Stickers, folding cards, organizing, packaging meals

Thursday afternoon:
-For people who like admin work
-Sitting at a table, helping customers with orders, and customer service

We aim to find volunteers who can come back each month to support our production week, please indicate on your sign up if you are available monthly, thanks!

Working Conditions -Kitchen experience required (including home kitchen)
-Ability to clean and tidy in the kitchen
-Fast paced kitchen environment
-Maintain food safety
-Available monthly
Minimum Duration 6 months or less
Timing Weekday - Daytime
Age 16+
