Impact Statement Wyndham House has been working to prevent, reduce and end youth homelessness in Guelph Wellington since 1973.

Wyndham House is more than just a roof overhead; Each of our programs provide a supportive environment where youth who are at-risk or experiencing homelessness are provided with integrated, wrap around supports and given the tools they need to stabilize, learn to make significant decisions and reach their full potential. Operating since 1973, Wyndham House has offered housing programs and support services to youth 16 – 25 with available staff 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Homelessness prevention and emergency services offered by Wyndham House include two 8-bed youth focused Supportive Housing Residences, an Emergency Youth Shelter, an integrated Youth Hub, The New Way Classroom, Housing Stability, Diversion & Rapid Re-housing programs as well as youth community outreach staff.
Description Bake/Cook Their Day Volunteering details:

It’s no secret everyone is baking and cooking these days, so let’s work together from your own kitchen to support our young people with a freshly baked treat or home cooked meal. Your donation will also provide kitchen relief support to our Front-Line Staff. A simple recipe shared to those who need it most!

• Baking suggestions - breads, muffins, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, pies, or holiday themed treats
• Meal suggestions - casseroles, pasta dishes, sandwiches/subs, chicken dinners, pizza, holiday meals (nonreturnable containers please)
• Your homemade goodness will support youth across our 4 Programs: Bellevue & Suffolk 8-bed Residences, Youth Emergency Shelter & Youth Hub.
• You are welcome to bake/cook for just 1 site or all 4, our program is very flexible. 8 youth reside at each housing site on average.


You are welcome to drop off your baking/cooking to one of our three housing residences or all 3, our program is very flexible. Eight young people reside at each site currently.
