Description |
The Chapter Administrator provides administrative support to the lead facilitator, the executive committee, and peer support group members. The Chapter Administrator makes ethically sound decisions based on a thorough understanding of the goals of each meeting, the stroke support group, and the organization. After Stroke Chapters provide survivors with a forum for learning about recovery, gathering resources, and socializing with others in similar situations who share common experiences. Main Responsibilities • Assist the chairperson in creating and distributing agendas for group meetings. • Takes notes during group committee meetings. • Create meeting minutes and distribute them to members in a timely and orderly fashion. • Maintain membership list and meeting attendance. • In collaboration with the Vice Chairperson make monthly telephone calls and send out meeting reminders. • Record and report volunteer hours monthly to the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator. • Arrange for the distribution of materials to group members (ie. sympathy, birthday, and/or congratulations cards). • Manage the chapter's Email account, mailbox, and phone line designated by MODC. • Assist with Chapter Events. |
