Description
Puppy sitters provide a home for a puppy in training for short periods to cover vacations or provide relief to long term puppy raisers. Sitting periods can vary and we will accommodate around your schedule. Most frequently needed would be weekends, holidays and up to a week period. All food and equipment will be supplied while the puppy is in your home. All vet care is covered by the organization.

Training Details
An orientation session is provided prior to beginning as well as ongoing support while volunteering. An on call number is available for emergencies that may occur while housing the puppies.
Working Conditions
Candidates should have stretches of time that they would be able to house a puppy at their home - must have a safe home environment for a puppy. A vehicle is not required but you must have a way of transporting the puppy to a designated local vet in case of emergency. Must be able to walk, exercise and manage a dog on leash.
