Position Waste Management Attendant Volunteer - Guelph & District Multicultural Festival

Impact Statement The Guelph and District Multicultural Festival began as a small downtown event in 1978. Since moving to Riverside Park, attendance has increased from 2,000 to 25,000 people, generating cultural awareness and funding for local community groups and fostering economic development in Guelph and beyond.

Description GDMF is committed to providing an eco-friendly Festival and contributing to
reducing carbon footprint and littering impacts. In this role, the volunteers
will ensure proper waste disposal will be done according to the guidelines
provided by the waste management dept of the City of Guelph.
Training Details Training will be provided.
