Impact Statement | The Learning Disabilities Association of Wellington County is looking for positive role models for our Reading Rocks program. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in working with children as a career goal or who is already working with children. |
Description | The program is looking for dedicated volunteers to work individually with children aged 6-12 to help them with important reading skills. During this 8-week program you will be working with a child for one hour two night per week. Excellent oral and written English language skills are a must. Previous experience working with children or tutoring would be an asset. Training will be provided, along with lots of fun and interactive materials to help you engage your student. |

Training Details |
Most training is done online in your own time as well as training with a facilitator the week prior to session start date to ensure everyone is ready and to answer questions. We will also provide ongoing support to volunteers as needed. You are never left alone! |
