| Description |
• Teach program participants basic computer and digital technology skills such as: o Using and setting up an email account o Using Google docs, sheets etc. o Using internet search engines to find information o Accessing audio-visual content on websites such as Youtube o Safety over the internet • Assist program participants one on one with practicing computer/digital technology skills as per their needs • Deliver short presentations on computer skills and applications to program participants • Informally assess participants’ learning needs and goals through one to one interaction • Suggest appropriate techniques and resources to participants that align with their learning needs • Record the time spent volunteering and preparing for the session • Maintain a warm and welcoming environment where each participant is treated with dignity and respect • Work closely with Program staff to incorporate the needs of the program • Refer to Program staff any concerns, questions, and challenges |

Orientation ; • Computer Club volunteers receive program orientation with the Volunteer Mobilizer • Volunteers receive one on one orientation with the Volunteer Mobilizer and Community Connections Outreach Worker |
