| Description |
• Opening and closing of the Bistro cash • Ensuring daily menu is posted clearly on white board with current prices • Counting float prior to shift • Reconciling float and daily cash balance at end of shift, separating all receipts • Serving customers of the dining room in a courteous manner • Taking payment in the form of Cash, VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Debit, City Card or Visa/Debit • Communication with the Admin staff in the main office and the Chef in the kitchen on a regular basis • Ongoing maintenance of the Bistro in conjunction with coffee volunteers (i.e. if asked by the Chef to complete tasks when the Bistro is quiet) • 2 operating shifts: AM – 8:45-11:30; PM – 11:15-2:00 |
