| Description |
Volunteers meet a location of market (schedule and address provided) and help set up our mobile market with Hope House Dietian. Volunteers may be asked to help community members with selecting produce and packing their bags. Duties include: - Hauling folding tables, crates and bags of food - Setting up mobile market - Helping community members - Tearing down market and cleaning up - Heavy lifting (40 - 50 lbs) |
| Working Conditions |
Working with older adults in market-like environment. Volunteers may be asked to lift heavy tables, crates and shopping bags (between 40 - 50 lbs). Volunteers may be asked to use their own vehicles or public transit to get to market locations. |
