Description | We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to assist with monitoring turtle nests at the Yorklands Green Hub site. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to local wildlife conservation efforts and gain hands-on experience in environmental stewardship. |

Working Conditions |
Outdoor Environment: Volunteers will work primarily outdoors in natural habitats where turtle nests are located. This involves spending significant time in fields, wetlands, and other areas where turtles are known to nest. **2. Weather Conditions: Volunteers must be prepared to work in various weather conditions, including sun, rain, wind, and fluctuating temperatures. Appropriate clothing and gear, such as hats, sunscreen, rain jackets, and sturdy footwear, are essential. **3. Physical Activity: The role involves moderate physical activity, including walking, bending, crouching, and occasionally lifting light objects. Volunteers should be comfortable navigating uneven terrain and walking moderate distances. |
