| Description |
Yorklands Green Hub is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our Tree Mobile Project by assisting with sorting orders, preparing and potting fruit-bearing trees and plants, and helping with delivery logistics. This role will primarily involve hands-on tasks related to nursery operations and transportation of trees and plants to various locations within the Guelph community. Responsibilities: Sorting Orders: Assist in sorting and organizing incoming orders of fruit-bearing trees and plants. This may involve inspecting plant materials, arranging them for easy access, and ensuring accurate inventory management. Preparing and Potting Trees and Plants: Help prepare potting mixtures, containers, and planting materials for potting fruit-bearing trees and plants. Participate in potting activities, including filling containers, transplanting seedlings, and labeling plants accordingly. Delivery Assistance: Support the delivery team in loading trees and plants onto delivery vehicles. Assist with navigating delivery routes, unloading materials at designated locations, and providing assistance to customers as needed. - lead set up, clean up and program activities |

| Time Detail | We’re seeking 10-12 high school age or older volunteers for a 2+ hour shift on April 13 between 8:00 and 5:00, May 3rd between 9:00 and 5:00 or May 4th between 9:00 and noon. Or all three days! Also seeking anyone with a pick up or cargo style van for deliveries. |
