Description |
This role involves screening donated children's books before making them available to families. Screeners check for damage (torn or missing pages, scribbling in the book, etc.), mending minor damage, and wiping away dirt when needed. They also check that the book’s content is appropriate and place a sticker with the CRR logo on the back of the books that pass the screen. Interacting with families who attend our programs. Creating outreach materials out of discarded books. Secondary duties... Assisting with outreach efforts. Directing client questions and feedback related to CRR to a staff member. |
