United for Literacy Guelph (formerly Frontier College)

United for Literacy is not bound by the walls of a classroom, only by the dreams of our learners. Our staff and volunteers activate those dreams and help people realize them. Across Canada—in urbanized, rural, and remote locations—we believe any place can be a learning place. We offer free literacy and numeracy programs for children, teens, adults, seniors, and families. Practical and goal-oriented, some programs are in-person, while others reach people online. Our learner-centered programs are tailored appropriately to different ages, life stages, and community priorities. Educators widely regard our programming as best-in-class examples of Student-Centered Individualized Learning principles.
